Police on the Coromandel Peninisula have ended a stand off between protesters and a truck those protesting believed was carrying 1080 pesticide.
Police said the Department of Conservation called them at about 8.30am after protesters blocked a truck in the Kauaeranga Valley.
The protesters suspected the truck was part of a 1080 drop that took place in the region early this morning.
The protesters have now left.
