A man has appeared in the Nelson District Court today to face charges of rape following an early morning attack on woman in her Richmond home.
A couple woke on Sunday morning to find an intruder in their bedroom.
The 34-year-old accused has been remanded in custody until Monday, and has been granted interim name suppression.
