Marcus Winter, sells his ink art at various markets across Auckland. For Marcus, being Maori is an inherent part of his artistic identity.

Marcus is a salesman and performer as well as an artist. He travels from market to market creating ink paintings in front of an audience. He then raffles them off or auctions them. Marcus's wife Fernanda, a Colombian who came here to study English, accompanies him and does airbrush tattoos designed by Marcus's uncle, who lives off the land up North.
