One In Five for Sunday 24 October 2010
The great pie-off
It's all about celebrating diversity tonight on One in Five. And here in the Dunedin College of Education auditorium, it's flour power of a culinary kind at work. Along with pastry, lard, spatulars and pie-makers in hand we're kicking of the City's Celebrate Diversity week in style. As the grandson of a pie-maker world famous in Dunedin, it seems only fair that I pit my culinary skills against the Queen of 'Cooking without Looking', That Blind Woman, Julie Woods. But who'll charm the judge the most? Local beer baron Richard Emerson reserves his decision.
Mike Gourley, with the tie, (or should that be pie?) pitting his culinary skills against the Queen of Cooking without Looking, That Blind Woman Julie Woods.
Local beer baron Richard Emerson looks forward to judging the results.
