Wind back the clock to the early sixties. Jean Griffiths is one of hundreds of Chinese orphans, who at that time were dispatched from Hong Kong to the English speaking world. In Jean's case - the unfamiliar sights and sounds of a New Zealand happy to accept the children Britain wants to offload.

Email contact for Jean is faith-steps@hotmail.com.

Jean Griffiths.

Jean Griffiths with some of the craftwork she's selling to help raise money for her trip back to Hong Kong. There she'll reunite with the nuns who first took her in over fifty years ago, plus many of the other orphans who, like Jean, were shipped out to the English speaking world - including NZ.
