The high profile Telethon, the first in 16 years, has raised 2 million dollars for the charity KidsCan. Questions are being raised over how much of the money will be spent on frontline programmes for kids in poverty.

Russell Brown, leading media commentator and of the blog Public Address, has been through the financial statements of the KidsCan Stand Tall Trust, which will receive the funds.
