8:10 Taranaki street art festival returns
The streets of New Plymouth are about to be taken over by artists, music, and a whole lot of spray paint.
The Get Up Festival is back for its first run in eleven years. The founder of the event, artist Cam Shennan, aims to transform Taranaki into a living gallery, with public murals and graffiti art at its heart.

8:20 French-trained clown returns to NZ for Fringe Festival show 'Dune but Worse
The epic 1965 science ficton novel by Frank Herbert has had numerous adaptations over the years.
However the subject of my next interview may just well be the most unusual.
Dune but WORSE is described as a bold, ill-advised, clown retelling of the Dune saga.
The show is part of the New Zealand Fringe Festival in Wellington and is performed by notorious Pōneke clown Sean Burnett Dugdale-Martin
