Police have criticised media outlet Stuff.co.nz for publishing audio from police radio during the fatal engagement with fugitive Tom Phillips, and said they are investigating a potential breach of the Radiocommunications Act.

To discuss the use of police radio and how media are allowed or expected to use it, former New Zealand Police crisis negotiator Lance Burdett joins Emile Donovan.
