Beale Street Caravan features six bands that were finalists and winners in the International Blues Challenge. The IBC is a world-wide battle of the bands organised each year by the Blues Foundation, with the finals held in Memphis in February. This year the finalists in the band category are from the US, with one exception – a German band. Their common factor is high quality musicianship.
