Broods announce NZ tour

The Nelson-bred, LA-based duo will release their third album Don't Feed The Pop Monster on February 1st and are playing in Auckland and Christchurch in March.

Broods’ Don’t Feed The Pop Monster tour:

  • Christchurch – Town Hall, Friday, March 22
  • Auckland – Town Hall, Sunday, March 24

The album Don't Feed The Pop Monster was put together with Broods’ longtime producer Joel Little best known for his work on Lorde’s debut album Pure Heroine. It's out on February 1st.

The duo released two singles from the album in 2018 - ‘Peach’ and ‘Everything Goes (Wow)’, and a third, ‘Hospitalized’ last week.

Broods are Georgia Nott and brother Caleb who formed the band in 2013.

Born into a musical family, Georgia and Caleb had their breakthrough as Broods with the 2014 single ‘Bridges’. That track appeared on their first album Evergreen, which debuted at #1 on the New Zealand Albums Chart. 

The album went on to win four awards at the 2015 NZ Music Awards including Album of the Year. the duo released their second album Conscious in 2016 and went on to support Sam Smith on a sold-out US tour, as well as playing festivals including Coachella, and Lollapalooza.

Broods said in a press release, they can’t wait to bring their new live show to New Zealand. 

Tickets go on sale on January 29th.
