2PM LIVE: RNZ Music Live Sessions - Laiika

Laiika is an Auckland-based female pop duo made up of best friends Grace Moller and Heidi Simpson.

With very musical parents, Laiika wrote and performed their first song together as 13-year-olds. Now nineteen, the pair have spent the last five years developing their unique sound and style.

Laiika write and co-produce all of their own songs, drawing inspiration from 70’s disco, dreamy 80’s synth-pop and punchy 2000’s classics,

"New Zealand have a new pop duo on the scene that are going to melt your hearts and have you ready to dance under fluorescent lights." - thomasbleach.com

LAIIKA and band performed boppin' versions of their latest songs live for RNZ Music at Auckland's Samoa House.

Stay tuned for new music from LAIIKA, set for release later this year. Made with support from NZ On Air Music.
