We call in on some of the many Music Festivals happening around the country this weekend to find out how it's going so far...
The Secret Life of Skank
Aotearoa is reggae's second home with acts such as Katchafire, House of Shem, Fat Freddy's Drop and The Black Seeds going to the top of the charts at will. The genre is built around one simple rhythmic motif called the 'skank'. Nick Atkinson spoke to a DJ, an academic and several musicians to find out how and why we skank. (Tigilau Ness, right, shows us how it's done)

We mark the 10th anniversary of the film soundtrack O Brother Where Art Thou?, which revitalised Bluegrass and Mountain music for the 21st century.
In Memoriam
2011 saw the passing of a number of prominent singers, songwriters, musicians and industry personnel, all who have contributed in their own unique way to the wonderful world of music. We pause to pay tribute to their careers with a special In Memoriam musical montage.
