10:20 Another managed isolation worker tests positve for Covid-19

A worker at a managed isolation facility in Auckland has tested positive for Covid-19, the third health worker in a fortnight to test positive for the coronavirus.

In a statement tonight the Ministry has confirmed the person works at the facility and is not a returnee, so is considered a community case. The case was reported to the Ministry this afternoon.

Karyn speaks with epidemiologist Dr Michael Baker about the managed isolation system New Zealand's using at the border and if it can cope with keeping its workers and the wider community safe from Covid-19.
