Tonight Labour's Jacinda Ardern and National's Judith Collins face off in the second of New Zealand's leader's debates.

RNZ News political journalist Charlie Dreaver is at the debate at Q Theatre in Auckland and will join Karyn Hay in the studio afterwards.

The first US presidential debate today was 90-minutes of chaotic and vicious attacks between President Donald Trump and the Democratic contender Joe Biden with more than 70 interjections.

Newshub's Paddy Gower moderated the second leaders' televised debate this evening between Labour's leader Jacinda Ardern and National's leader Judith Collins on TV3.
