Overnight weather, large swells still batter Wellington coast

Powerful waves, strong winds, and snow have hit much of the country, as a blast of Antarctic air rolls over Aotearoa. A large swell warning is still in place for Wellington's south coast, as residents on Breaker Bay Road between numbers 53 and 194 were evacuated last night. Producer Jeremy Parkinson spoke with weather analyst Richard Green about what the country has experienced overnight and what to expect in the coming hours.
