A floating freezer in Whangarei has gone viral. After a one in five hundred year flood over the weekend, video has emerged of a freezer travelling more than seven kilometres in raging floodwaters.
Since then, it's been spotted by many locals, updating its travels each time.
Louise Ternouth spoke to local Councillor Nicholas Connop about the freezer and how the community is coping after the floods.
