A Northland farmer is hopeful they'll be able to bounce back quickly after the weekend's massive dumping of rain. Paddocks in low-lying areas were inundated with water after rivers and streams burst their banks. While water levels are dropping, plenty of farmland is still waterlogged. Roger Ludbrook is a bull farmer in Ohaeawai, near Paihia. He told Sarah Robson he's lost a lot of fencing, which has been damaged by debris that's been carried downstream.
