One of the most recognisable faces in New Zealand broadcasting, Mark Sainsbury has worked as a reporter, foreign correspondent, political editor, documentary maker, current affairs host and election debate moderator. He is a regular SPCA volunteer and runs the Men's Health Week awareness campaign and joins Culture 101 as our Fast Favourites guest this week. Sainsbury discusses his 50-year collection of The Phantom comics, he recent rediscovery of '90s hits and recommends The Return of a King: The Battle for Afghanistan by Scottish historian William Dalrymple and for television, Adolescence on Netflix.
