Your Place - Kopu

At the junction of State Highways 25 and 26, Kopu is the gateway to the Coromandel. At last count the permanent resident population stood at only four, but during the working week it bustles with 30 businesses employing hundreds. This is an industrial village has undergone a bit of a transformation recently with the building of a new bridge to replace an eighty-five-year old, single lane wooden structure.
