They says simple business ideas are the ones that work, and that seems to be true for two former scarfies.

Angus Syme and Cam Leigh had just started their first year at the University of Otago, and came up with the concept of selling second hand beds to fellow students.

Now three years later after expanding their business nationwide, they're looking at hitting a million dollars revenue for the year.

As people become more creative about making money under strict, and sometimes limiting, COVID rule, Jane Mahoney's found a way to help keen gardeners all over New Zealand monetise the hobby for others to enjoy.

In November she launched a website called Secret Gardens which is best described as a garden version of Air BnB.

She explains to Jesse how it works and how it's been going since its launch last November.

Jesse Mulligan speaks to former All-Whites defender and Phoenix coach, Ricki Herbert, who was a member of that 1982 squad. He went on to coach the All Whites back to the final 28 years later in 2010.
