1:20 Myth-busting what living with COVID is really like overseas

There's been plenty of talk about New Zealand living with Covid restrictions, while the rest of the world is 'back to normal'. Rosie Carnahan-Darby has been seeing plenty of comments like this on social media. She and her family are New Zealanders, but they're living in Los Angeles. She talks to Jesse about the realities of living with COVID, free of lockdowns, is really like. You can find her article in The Spinoff here

1.40 Encouraging vaccination through education

A Northland vaccination programme is using lessons of the past to encourage people to get their COVID jab.

Clinical manager of health provider Whakawhiti Ora Pai Maureen Allan says they are on the road and while misinformation isn't as big a problem as they envisaged, talking about the past and the Māori death rates from the Spanish influenza pandemic does helps them to overcome their hesitancies and needle phobias. Maureen talks to Jesse about how a bit of a history lesson is helping to boost vaccination rates.

3:10 Georgia Pritchett's messy life!

It's no easy task to make obscenely self obsessed characters human and funny, like the rich Roys in Succession and Selena Meyer from VEEP. But British writer Georgia Pritchett has a lifetime of seeing the humor in odd and uncomfortable situations. For years, she was the only woman in the writer's room and endured crippling anxiety. So she did what she does best. She started writing. The result is a memoir in vignettes called My Mess Is a Bit of a Life: Adventures in Anxiety.
