CHEAP AND CHEERFUL
Five Oaks Moutere Pinot Gris 2014 $12 (online special)
This is a snappy, light white for those who like a splash of sweetness in their wine.  With poached pear, quince and spicy, apple strudel flavours and crisp tangy acidity - it’s seriously refreshing.  Drink super-chilled if you can.

MID-PRICE MAGIC
Villa Maria Hawke’s Bay Organic Sauvignon Blanc 2014 $19
Aromas of basil & lime, passionfruit and white pepper ooze forth from this fully-certified, citrusy sauvignon.  It’s a really interesting example, mineral-driven and boasting an apple-ish tang on the finish.  Fresh and fabulous.

TREAT YOURSELF
Awatere River Marlborough Pinot Noir 2013 $33
Pretty carmine and garnet colour and boasting sweet mushroom and cherry cola characters on the nose, followed by ripe, punchy plum, black guava and baking spices on the palate.  Elegant, slippery, lightly structured and darn lovely.

Sarah McMullan reviews Jurassic World and Marshland.

3:45 The Panel Pre-Show
