2:10 Dame Fiona Kidman is one of New Zealand's leading contemporary writers.She is a novelist, poet, scriptwriter and short story author, and has now written nearly 30 books and more than 60 TV, film and radio scripts. Her latest book, The Infinite Air, is a best-selling novel based around the life of aviator Jean Batten, who in 1936 made the first solo flight from New Zealand to England. And the Wellington-based author is in Marlborough this weekend where she too has taken to the skies.
