2:10 The Stormchaser - Aaron Wilkinson
If most of us came anywhere near a tornado, we would run the other way. Not Aaron Wilkinson of Mt Somers, near Methven.  Storm chasing is his hobby, and it can be a dangerous one. Three veteran storm chasers were among those killed in Oklahoma City when a violent tornado swept through the area.  Although tornadoes in New Zealand don't reach the same intensity as those in the US or Australia, they can still be dangerous and deadly.
So when the conditions are right, Wilkinson packs up his van and heads into the storm.

See some of the pictures he's taken of lightening and tornadoes.

2.20: NZ Society - David Steemson
This is the first in a small series by David Steemson on people who've tried to kill themselves but have recovered, to live full lives. The Mental Health Foundation believes society can benefit from talking about what it calls "Suicide Recovery". Today we meet Dr Sarah Gordon who is an academic advocate for people with mental illness.

4:06 Duncan Webb and Sally Wenley are on The Panel today. Yes Cinderella you shall go to the school ball and not necessarily with a prince... same-sex arrangements at the balls, Auckland gobbling up the best arable land in the country it's claimed, but does that matter? Kevin Rudd returns with a message of kindness and gentleness, the question of how much you can claim on the clothing you wear to work, and isn't the Government paying attention to the needs of Auckland at the moment.
