Speed cameras - former police accident inspector and now road safety consultant, Hamish Piercey was saying on yesterday's Panel that the cameras slow traffic down only temporarily and they're not a wider safety device. Today the police will defend them and their locations. The terrible slaughter of the elephants in Africa for the Chinese consumer market, and other topics - assorted - as time allows.
