2:10 Teenager's Movie Blog -  Stevee Taylor
Sir Peter Jackson's not the only New Zealander getting a lot of attention in the movie business.
A movie blog called Cinematic Paradox, that includes movie reviews, Oscar predictions, and advice to directors about how to make their movies better, is winning awards too.
Stevee Taylor writes the blog and has won "Lammys", or Large Association of Movie Bloggers awards for  best blog, best rating system, best awards coverage and more. And she's just 17 years old. The Dannevirke High School student spends 2 hours most nights writing the blog from her bedroom and more than  50 thousand people have viewed it.

2:20  Epic Cat Trip - Bernie Endres
It's got all the elements of an epic movie script:  this is the  Unexpected Journey  of Squids the Burmese cat. She's been missing from her Hamilton  for 3 months.  Squids had been on an epic road trip... she was found on Waiheke Island almost 150km away from home.  She was lucky enough to have been found by a kind soul who took her to the SPCA, whICH doesn't usually keep cats for more than 7 days. After a series of unexpected twists and turns, Squids has been reunited with her family in Hamilton.

2:30 Reading - In 1912, three men driving from Wellington to Auckland in a Model-T car were hoping  to reach Taumarunui on the night of the second day out from wellington. But they got lost in the tussocky desert of the central plateau. In today's episode of Motor Pioneers of New Zealand, we re-join them somewhere near Tangiwai.

The sad story of the crashed air force Iroquois as the story comes out now about how they were trying to save money. Do we need to give pedestrians a better deal? We'll report from the red carpet for the Hobbit premiere, and Russell Brand the comedian also premieres his show tonight in Auckland. Is he right about our country's drug-taking? And the words banished from the Oxford dictionary by a New Zealander - was he on to something?  What words would you like to see expunged from the general vocabulary?
