The American inventor of synthetic cannabis that is for sale in dairies here as the product Kronic, is warning users to stop immediately or risk serious psychological problems.

Emeritus Professor John Huffman is an organic chemist at Clemson University, South Carolina. He developed the appetite stimulant JWH 018 - a chemical that mimics the effect of THC, the active ingredient in cannabis. The ingredient is now widely used in cannabinoids around the world. The New Zealand government has responded to concerns about its easy access with restrictions on products, such as Kronic, which should come into force within days.
