Fiji will face Dubai Sevens winners New Zealand in both men's and women's pool phase at the next stop on the HSBC SVNS Series in Cape Town.

The Fijiana Sevens will play Black Ferns, Great Britain and the USA in pool A.

The men's team is grouped with All Blacks Sevens, Great Britain and hosts South Africa, also in pool A.

Games begin on Saturday night, Fiji time.

The Fijiana Sevens start their tournament against the USA at 8:44pm on Saturday, before the men's team play South Africa at 10.44pm.

Fiji's men's sevens coach Osea Kolinisau is taking the positives from his team's third-place finish at the Dubai Sevens.

Fiji narrowly lost their semifinal to New Zealand, before beating France in the third-place playoff, 24 points to 7.

FBC reported Kolinisau saying it is always hard to come back and win after a semifinal loss, and he is glad the side turned up and delivered against a very good French team.

The Fijiana finished fourth in Dubai.
