American Samoa's governor Lemanu Peleti Mauga has issued his second Covid-19 Emergency Declaration since taking office on January 3rd.

Code Blue restrictions continue but there have been changes in the requirements for anyone entering the territory.

The declaration states that any person entering the territory must contact the Department of Health at least ten days prior to travel and provide the documents required by the Director of Health.

Passengers must submit to a quarantine of 15 days upon arrival in the territory unless the Director of Health or his designee determines based on medical evidence that the person may be released earlier.

Regularly scheduled passenger flights to and from the US are suspended.

Public gatherings including religious worship are allowed from 5am to 12 midnight, but bingo games for fundraising purposes will remain suspended.
