A day after a reported recovery of a Covid-19 patient, the Northern Marianas has announced an additional person has contracted the coronavirus.

That puts the CNMI's Covid-19 count at 22 with seven active cases, 13 recoveries, and two deaths.
The Governor's Covid-19 Taskforce and the Commonwealth Healthcare Corporation says the latest case is a 27-year-old female who was asymptotic.
Authorities say she is a contact of previously diagnosed people with Covid-19.
She is currently in stable condition in the isolation facility at Kanoa Resort.
