French Polynesia has recorded another five Covid-19 coronavirus cases, bringing the total to 11.
No further details have been released about the new cases.
Yesterday, three people, including a tourist from Spain, tested positive.
The domestic carrier Air Tahiti says it will suspend all scheduled flights from Sunday night.
Its fleet will then be at the disposal of the government for urgent missions.
Until Sunday, transport is restricted to people needing to travel for work, health issues or urgent family matters.
