The company produces natural 'noble kava' products for the complementary and alternative medicine market.

Fiji Kava Limited was the first kava company to list on a global stock exchange when it made its debut on Australia's ASX in 2018.

Last year the company signed a one-year Memorandum of Understanding with New Zealand health care provider Green Cross Health.

The agreement led to its capsules and instant kava powder being made available in up to 200 pharmacies in New Zealand.

Fiji Kava chief executive Zane Zoshida said the latest agreement would see Coles sell noble kava extract capsules, including some new varieties.

According to Mr Yoshida, the new noble kava varieties are Sleep, Mind and Body capsule ranges uniquely formulated to promote sleep, soothe and calm the nerves, as well as relax the mind and body.

He said Coles was the first retailer in the world to sell Fiji Kava's three new product innovations.

Mr Yoshida said the products were expected to be in Coles supermarkets nationally and would be available via their online store in June.
