A woman, 37, and boy, 9, were in isolation last week after falling ill soon after arriving from Japan and Singapore respectively.

Ministry of Health official Sunil Chandra said the pair had been cleared and there were no confirmed cases of the virus in the country.

"To date all persons investigated for COVID-19 in Fiji have tested negative and cleared. Nobody in Fiji is currently under investigation for COVID-19."
