The culvert between 5-mile and Kabiufa has been completely washed away by build-up from a dam.

The dam was created when the China Harbour Engineering (CHE) workers dumped 16 truckloads of gravel to block off the creek so it could work on culvert bridges.

Transport through the highlands provinces has stalled because of the damage.

Provincial Works and the CHE are working to fix the gaping hole.
