Veteran Cook Islands politician Nandi Glassie may not be well enough to contest another by-election for the Atiu seat.

As the Cook Islands News reports former cabinet minister Mr Glassie has already fought Te-Hani Brown in two elections and two legal battles for the Tengatangi-Areora-Ngatiarua seat.
The new by-election is set to happen on 14 November.
But the paper reported that Mr Glassie was currently seeking medical attention in New Zealand.
His party is yet to say who it will field in the poll.
