Police in Samoa are reviewing CCTV footage to try and find how a baby's body came to be dumped in a rubbish bin in Apia.

The body was discovered a week ago at Mulifanua wharf, and a forensic examination of the scene has been carried out.

It comes less than a month after another baby's body was found at Lauli'i village.

Meanwhile, police commissioner Fuiavailili Egon Keil has condemned the sharing of photos of the scene on social media, calling it downright unacceptable.
