The Post Courier newspaper reported Madang Open MP Bryan Kramer held a press conference in Port Moresby over his allegations which Mr O'Neill's office has called fake news.

When the media asked Mr Kramer for evidence he refused and instead challenged reporters to do their own investigations.

Earlier Mr Kramer had said he had evidence from 'reliable sources' which he would reveal in Parliament on May 28 as well as take the matter to court.

The allegations have led to the Attorney General launching a review into the citizenship status of all of the country's 111 MPs.
