The Fijiana finished 10th of 12 teams in the opening round in Glendale, Colorado last month, winning just one of their five games.

Round two of the six round series is played this weekend in Dubai.

Coach Ro Alifereti Doviverata said the squad had been working hard on all the areas of their game.

"The players are in high spirits after a good week so far" he said from Dubai.

"We have been working on all the areas that we need to improve on from the last tournament and we hope to get it right this time."

"We've been working on our clarity sessions this last couple of days, polishing the final preparations at captain's run," said the former Flying Fijians captain.

Fiji will take on Canada, France and Spain in pool play in Dubai - having lost to all three teams in the USA.
