The parliamentary leader of Fiji's Labour Party Aman Ravindra-Singh has been given 14 days to respond to legal action taken against him by Fiji's prime minister and attorney-general.
The Fiji Times reports Mr Ravindra-Singh was served a writ of summons yesterday.
The paper reports the action relates to an article on the lawyer's Facebook page entitled Regime Dirty Politics.
Frank Bainimarama and Aiyaz Sayed-Khaiyum are seeking a public apology and damages for libel and slander.
Mr Ravindra-Singh said he'll continue to speak the truth and stand up for his beliefs.
