According to La Depeche, this brings to 103 the number of people charged or convicted in methamphetamine cases this year.

It reported that in the latest case a woman has been given a two-year jail sentence after she was found with a pack of the drug in her body.

She said she agreed to fly to Los Angeles after her brother promised her as reward the equivalent of her annual salary as an agriculture worker.

He has been jailed for three years and an associate in the affair four years.
