The trial of Fiji opposition politician Sitiveni Rabuka has been scheduled for mid October.

Fiji media reported the SODELPA leader appeared in court this morning.
Mr Rabuka has been charged under political parties legislation with making a false declaration of his assets and liabilities.
He is accused of failing to provide information on his tax liabilities related to the firm Raghwan Construction amounting to approximately $US150,000 as well as $56,000 in liabilities.
Mr Rabuka's trial is due to take place from October 15 to 19 in the Suva Magistrates Court.
