The Permanent Secretary for Employment, Salaseini Daunabuna, made the comments during an event marking the World Day Against Child Labour.

Ms Daunabuna said the Ministry had investigated the cases and the children were back at school where they belonged.

She said her ministry had conducted training and done ground inspections to ensure the country's labour laws were being followed.
