Mosese Qiolele and Josephine Singh were each charged with one count of conspiracy to defeat justice.

The court found that Qiolele attempted to obstruct the course of justice by offering the female police officer a sum of $US3,700 to withdraw the indecent assault charge.

Singh was found to have attempted to obstruct the course of justice by having the female officer sign a withdrawal statement.

Resident Magistrate Vandhana Lal has adjourned the matter to mid-June for sentencing.
