Up to 49 kilometres of cane access roads in Fiji's Koronubu sugarcane sector in Ba are to be upgrade soon.

This has been made possible by a partnership between the European Union and the Pacific Community.
$US2.08 million dollars has been provided by the EU for the work which will benefit about 360 cane farmers and their families by reducing the time taken to transport cane between their farms and the Rarawai mill in Ba.
