The Commonwealth and the Pacific Community have signed an agreement they say will help strengthen healthcare in the region.
The memorandum of understanding was signed on the sidelines of the Pacific Islands Forum meeting in Samoa.
In a statement, the Pacific Community's director general Colin Tukuitonga says the deal will see the two share resources.
This will support countries to achieve universal health coverage and address non-communicable diseases, which are at crisis levels in the region.
