In Fiji, a wooden bridge in Maururu, Ba has collapsed cutting off access to thousands of students and people.

According to pictures shared on Facebook, a truck ended up in the river.
The Fiji Roads Authority said the Maururu bridge was closed to all traffic and a team was identifying temporary access and scoping works for repair or replacement.
The FRA said it would provide an update on how they plan to proceed with repairs.
