A veteran opposition member in Niue says he, or a fellow member of the opposition, will go for the island's premiership.

The premier is elected by the country's 20 assembly members.
Niue went to the polls at the weekend and leadership hopefuls including the former premier Sir Toke Talagi are now in the process of garnering support.
Terry Coe, who's spent 22 years in opposition, polled second, according to provisional results, and ahead of Sir Toke on the common roll.
He said Sir Toke had gathered most of the assembly members in Alofi this morning including another contender for the premiership top polling O'Love Jacobsen.
"She wants to be the premier and I said I would support her. If she goes to the Talagi camp, that's alright, I'm not worried. There's definitely ... I'd put up a name to challenge the premier anyhow. He's not going to (be) allowed to walk in and get the premier's job."
Terry Coe said he was unlikely to be chosen as he is a palagi and he only has about six supporters in the assembly.
Mr Coe said he was happy to be in opposition and his priorities this term would be ensuring roads are fixed, the island's cleaned up and that departure tax is reasonable.
