Cook Islands will send their largest ever team to the Rio Olympics after two last-minute additions.
Swimmer Wesley Robert, who achieved the Olympic B qualifying standard at last month's Oceania Championship, has been given approval to compete in Brazil by the sport's world governing body FINA and the International Olympic Committee.
Weightlifter Luisa Peters has also secured a universality place to compete at her second Olympic Games in the Women's over 75kg division.
The squad of nine athletes travelling to Rio across five sports - sailing, swimming, weightlifting, canoe slalom and track and field - is the largest ever from the Cook Islands to attend the Olympics, beating the eight who attended the London Games four years ago.
