The government has awarded its advertising contract for 2016 to the country's other major newspaper, The Fiji Sun.

The Fiji Times has sought a judicial stay of the government's decision, which the court has refused to do.

This means the government will continue to solely advertise in the Fiji Sun until the judicial application is heard by the court.
