Vanuatu's parliament will sit this afternoon after the country's Court of Appeal ruled against an opposition appeal.
On Monday, the Supreme Court ordered that parliament be suspended while a constitutional petition filed by the opposition leader, Ishmael Kalsakau, was heard by the court.
The opposition had boycotted a special sitting which the government hoped to use to introduce proposals for major contitutional reforms.
The presiding judge, Chief Justice Vincent Lunapeck this morning quashed the Supreme Court's ruling, allowing parliament to sit.
